Remix VOD2Live AV1

This demo showcases a VOD stream being played out "as-live". Using AV1 encoded content which is normally expensive to encode live. Remix VOD2Live allows you to take existing VOD assets and play them out as a new live channel, without an expensive broadcast chain or encoder.

The benefits of this solution:

  • Repurpose existing content
  • Reduce cost of creating OTT-only live channels
  • Skip the set up of a full broadcast chain
  • Create targeted linear channels
  • Provide niche/boutique channels that would otherwise be too expensive
